China will focus on promoting the new economic development pattern of “dual circulation”, expand the import of high-quality products and services, and share market opportunities with all parties in other countries.
Ding Xuexiang, Chinese vice premier, made the remarks at China Development Forum 2023 on Sunday.
Ding emphasized that opening to the outside world is China’s basic national policy and a distinctive symbol of modern China. China’s continuous opening up has not only promoted its development, but has also benefited the world.
China will work with other countries to build an open world economy, share opportunities in opening up and address challenges through cooperation, and promote the stable recovery of the world economy, Ding said. The country will strengthen international coordination of macroeconomic policy and head off serious negative spillover effects caused by radical policy adjustment. It will also strive to uphold real multilateralism, inject strong positive energy into the recovery of the global economy, and provide more stability and certainty, he added.
