ISLAMABAD : During a meeting in Islamabad, Ahsan Iqbal, the Minister for Planning and Development, instructed all Ministries to produce a report on the socio-economic effects of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects in the country, to mark the ten-year completion of the mega-project. He also stated that he and Chinese officials agreed to hold meetings of the Joint Working Group every two months, during his recent visit to China. Ahsan Iqbal also assured that the government is taking necessary measures to ensure the security and protection of investments made under CPEC.
