ISLAMABAD : Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto emphasized the significance of peace and stability in Afghanistan for the socio-economic progress of the region and pledged to collaborate with all stakeholders, including China, to achieve this goal. During a joint press conference with the Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang in Islamabad, Bilawal reaffirmed the importance of a peaceful Afghanistan for regional development, connectivity, and prosperity. Bilawal expressed Pakistan’s commitment to working with all parties involved to establish a peaceful, stable, prosperous, and united Afghanistan. The visit of the Chinese and Afghan foreign ministers to Pakistan included discussions on security, the economy, and regional cooperation. Bilawal also appreciated China’s support for Pakistan’s territorial integrity and its principled stance on the issue of India-occupied Kashmir. He reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for China on various core issues and highlighted the strong bond of the Pak-China strategic partnership.
