PESHAWAR: A senior official expressed that the economic plan known as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) initiated by China will herald a new era of economic development in Pakistan. KP Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry stated, “The CPEC will bring stability to our economy. The government is actively working to expedite its progress, ensuring that its benefits reach the people at the earliest possible time.” These remarks were made by Chaudhry during a ceremony held at the China Window, a Chinese Cultural and Information Center in Peshawar. The event commemorated the 72nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
