ISLAMABAD (PEN): While addressing a donors’ conference organized by the Directorate of Technical Education and Skills Development (DTESD), the Speaker of Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly, Syed Amjad Ali Zaidi has said that CPEC will provide a skilled workforce to the people of the region and enable socio-economic development. He also highlighted how under the program the local people of Gilgit-Baltistan will be skilled which will enable them to meet challenges for prosperity and economic growth. The GB government is taking concrete steps for the promotion of the TVET sector through the approval of the TVET Act 2018 of Gilgit Baltistan.
