ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Chinese investors are vying to establish another optic fiber link from Khunjerab to Rawalpindi and along the railway line to Karachi, according to Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications Syed Amin-Ul-Haque, who presided over the first meeting of the Advisory Council on Information Technology (IT) and Digital Economy. In order to eventually get access to the Chinese market, local IT companies must be encouraged to engage in CPEC projects, according to council experts who spoke during the meeting.
