The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has published the draft agreement on allied relations with Uzbekistan.
The agreement envisions that in case of threat of armed attack by third countries, the states will hold respective consultations to adopt measures in order to resolve the situation peacefully.
The countries undertake not to join any blocs or unions, to refrain from actions aimed against another country.
The countries will not allow to use their territories and resources for aggression and other hostile actions against each other.
The agreement is aimed to make a significant contribution into further strengthening of bilateral strategic partnership.
“The agreement serves as a strong basis for further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation and comprehensive development of bilateral relations in political, economic, investment, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan,” the Foreign Ministry said.
