ISLAMABAD – The Suki Kinari Hydropower project, as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), has achieved a significant milestone with the completion of the dam capping. This accomplishment indicates the project’s entry into a new phase of construction. The successful capping of the concrete dam on the Kunhar River in the Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province will propel the construction progress of the power station. Once operational, the project is expected to generate approximately 3.21 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually.
