ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Pakistan and China have come to a mutual agreement to accelerate the projects within the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) across Pakistan. This consensus was reached during a meeting held in Islamabad between Ahsan Iqbal, the Minister for Planning and Development, and Pang Chunxue, the Chinese Charge d’ Affaires, today. Both parties emphasized the substantial progress made by CPEC projects in boosting economic growth, developing infrastructure, and enhancing regional connectivity over the past decade. During the meeting, the Planning Minister highlighted various ongoing projects related to energy, power, and infrastructure. He also reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to completing these projects within the designated timeframe.
