ISLAMABAD : The Pakistani and Chinese governments are collaborating to increase the export of Pakistani seafood and agricultural products to the Chinese market through the Karakoram Highway. The Ambassador to China, Moin ul Haque, expressed their shared objective of facilitating trade and exports through the Khunjerab border. A truck carrying seafood containers successfully reached Kashgar in Xinjiang, marking the first time that seafood was transported by road from Karachi to Kashgar along the CPEC. The cost and feasibility of the transport route are being assessed, and Chinese partners are exploring more opportunities for importing commodities from Pakistan.
